Make A Stand Against The Enemy

“Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” I Peter 5:8

The devil is the most powerful enemy we have and is busy attacking us daily. He walks about just like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.

In this daily attack he is trying to discourage our hearts and weaken our walk with Christ. Sometimes he will use the things of the world and people to accomplish his goal.

Satan also is trying to divert our path and prevent us from following our Saviour, the precious Lord Jesus.

Destroying our testimony to a lost world is the ultimate goal of Lucifer. If we are to experience victory over Satan’s attacks, we must practice the following principles daily:

  1. Resist Satan.
  2. Keep our eyes on Christ alone.
  3. Be in the Word of God daily.

Make your stand today, and through the Holy Spirit’s power continue to serve your Lord.

Live For Christ Without Fear

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee:  be not dismayed; for I am thy God:  I will strengthen thee; Yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”  Isaiah 41:10

So often as Christians we fear many things as we walk through this life.  When we strive to serve our Lord this problem of fear stares us in the face.  Sometimes we fear what people will think of us, or what they will say to us about our Christian stand.  Other times we may fear to be a bold witness for Christ and tell others of His saving grace.  The devil can use this fear to stop us cold where we become useless in the service of our Lord.

We need to believe this wonderful promise, “Fear thou not”.  We do not have to fear anything or anybody, and the following are five good reasons why we do not have to fear.  They are found in our text.

  1. He is with us always.
  2. He is our God forever.
  3. He will give us the strength we need.
  4. He will always help us regardless of the need.
  5. He will personally uphold us with His right hand of righteousness.

Claim this promise today and live for Christ without fear.
